Today I have come across this song I had listened to a long time ago, when I did not know English, and, to my surprise, I have discovered that it refers to Venus, the Love's Goddess.

Here you have a Bossa version, but the original goes back to 1969. This song by the Dutch band Shocking Blue took the number one in the U.S. and other countries in Europe in 1970.
